San Diego Rotary Club

The San Diego Rotary Club has been serving San Diego since 1911.  The first project was the building of the Broadway Pier, and ever since the Club has been actively involved in a number of civic projects including: Balboa Park; STEM in City Heights; multiple projects with our military; scholarships for needy high school graduates; establishing a permanent location for the Monarch School; and many more projects.  The Club’s 520 members include well known civic, business and community leaders who, collectively, donate $500,000 and perform more than 100,000 volunteer hours annually assisting people in need, including children, seniors, military, veterans, and others.

San Diego Social Venture Partners

San Diego Social Venture Partners (SDSVP) is a 501(c)(3) philanthropic membership organization that provides funding and pro-bono consulting to strengthen local nonprofits within San Diego County.  We are comprised of caring and informed San Diegans with a passionate desire to give back through engaged strategic giving and volunteering, ultimately making our social sector more efficient, effective, and impactful.

Since the Club’s first days, members of the organization created programs that served and honored the region’s youngest, most underserved, elderly, and those challenged with blindness and vision impairment.

The power of 120 women giving together over $3.1 million has helped us make a significant impact on community-wide needs with our focused, collective grant giving.


Tijuana Innovadora is a local platform that integrates creative proposals for social innovation and raises the quality of life for the people of Tijuana. They aim to be the main forum for local expression of initiatives that generate awareness and continuous action, thus creating a global movement for social innovation.
